Part Number: AAL-742
This antique double shotgun, circa 1850 to 1870, was made for export to an American hunter. The locks are marked Moore & Co., while the bottom of the barrels are stamped with Belgian proof marks. The walnut stock has been sanded and refinished. The locks, barrels, and iron furniture have a gray bead blasted finish.
The barrels have good secure solder joints. Both bores have been scrubbed, but they both have visible pitting over the full length of the bore. The shotgun bore measures .721" for the right barrel and .718" for the left barrel, or about 12 gauge.
