Part Number: AAK-102
This antique fullstock longrifle is stocked in curly maple and trimmed in brass furniture. The rifle has mid 19th century styling with a square tail percussion lock, and triggerguard bow with finger spur. The barrel is stamped J.T. Green on the top flat. We were unable to locate any information on Mr. Green.
The .35 caliber barrel is 33" long, 1" at the breech with a slight taper toward the muzzle. The heavy barrel gives this rifle a modest weight making it ideal for use with a rest, or "over the log". The .33 caliber bore is rifled with four narrow groove and wide lands. The bore is lightly pitted over all the surfaces. The top flat of the barrel is stamped J.T. Green. The stamp is a one piece stamp with the lower edge a much deeper impression. The stamp is not well centered or very straight, which is not uncommon on antique rifle stamps.
